The 2014 Lions opened with a six-game streak in which they scored seven goals in each game, outscoring their opponents 44-4. Two more victories followed before a 3-1 loss to Salisbury stopped the run. The Lions responded with a 15-game win streak, with eight of them shutouts. A 2-0 win at Rowan closed out the regular season, and the Lions then won the NJAC tournament with wins over Kean and a 3-2 overtime victory over the Profs. In the NCAA championship, the 2014 Lions became the first team not to allow a goal in the tournament. TCNJ won games at home over New Paltz (4-0) and Catholic (1-0) to advance to the semis, where they defeated #2 Middlebury 2-0 and #3 Bowdoin, also 2-0, to win the title. Lindsey Hatch was named National Player of the Year and was joined by Erin Waller and Erin Healy on the All-American list.
