NCAA Quarterfinals

The 2012 Panthers raced through the regular season with a 14-0 record. The final seven games of that run were shutouts for Midd, a stretch in which they outscored their opponents 52-0. A 7-0 win in the NESCAC quarters and a 1-0 lead in the NESCAC semifinals pushed the consecutive goal streak to 60 before Amherst broke the streak in what would be an overtime win for Midd. The Panthers defeated Bowdoin for the NESCAC title and entered the NCAA tournament as the top seed. A 6-2 win over Skidmore moved Midd into the quarterfinals, where DePauw stunned the Panthers with a 2-1 overtime victory, handing Midd its first loss of the season. Lauren Greer was named the National Player of the Year and was named an All-American along with Margaret Souther, Cat Fowler, and Charlotte Gardiner.
