The 2004 Panthers opened with a shutout and never looked back, winning all 13 regular season games, including three victories against teams headed to NCAAs. Six of those victories were with a clean sheet; the Panthers outscored the opposition 65-12 in that run. A pair of victories at home set up another clash with Williams, but the Ephs turned the tables and beat Midd 4-3 in the NESCAC final, the same score by which they had lost to the Panthers in the regular season. Midd was named the overall #3 seed and hosted regionals, where they won both games to advance to the semis. A 3-0 defeat of Messiah set up a second consecutive title clash against Salisbury, but the Sea Gulls won 6-3. Janie Mackey and Claire Edelen earned All-American honors.
