The 2003 Panthers swept through the regular season, winning all 14 regular season games, including two against teams bound for the NCAA tournament. Midd closed the regular season with an 8-0 win over RPI, starting a four-game shutout streak that culminated in the NESCAC championship over Williams. Behind All-American Missy Krempa, wins over Montclair State and Rowan moved the Panthers into the semifinals, where a win over Cortland put the Panthers into the final with a 19-0 record. In the final, Midd lost to Salisbury 4-1, their first loss of the season.
