The 2014 Marauders opened up the season by winning their first nine games, outscoring their opponents 36-4, posting six shutouts. A pair of 2-1 losses sandwiched two 4-0 wins as the team moved to 11-2. A six-game stretch with five shutouts closed the regular season and culminated in a 2-0 victory over Ship in the PSAC semifinals. A second loss to West Chester in the PSAC final relegated the Marauders to the NCAA quarterfinals, were they beat Ship for the second time. A 2-1 overtime victory over WCU in the NCAA semis sent Millersville to the final, where they beat LIU Post 1-0 for their first national championship. Rachel Dickinson earned National Defensive Player of the Year honors, and was named All-American along with Sarah Bomberger, Lauren Sotzin, Megan Donlon , Champayne Hess, and Katelyn Zapp.
