The 2010 River Hawks allowed only 8 goals in 24 games, a pace that still ranks third all-time in the NCAA era. On the other side of the ball, they averaged almost five goals per game, a pace that currently ranks fourth in the NCAA era. Behind All-Americans Liz Day, Katie Enaire, Jamie Hadley, Melanie Hopkins, Sammy Macy and Annie Hansbury, UMass Lowell shut out 16 opponents, including eight consecutive in the middle of the season for a shutout streak of 606:48. In 19 games, the team won by more than two goals. The River Hawks never trailed any point in the season.
