NCAA Champions

The 2007 Huskies were the first team to reach the 300-point plateau in a season, averaging 5.28 goals per game, then an NCAA-era best. Jamie Vanartsdalen, who was named the National Player of the Year, led Bloomsburg in goals and points. Bloom opened up with four straight wins, outscoring opponents 39-1. A loss to IUP preceded an eight-game streak that was again stopped by IUP. The team then sandwiched a pair of three-win runs around a loss to Shippensburg before losnig for a third time to IUP, in overtime in the PSAC final. Bloom defeated Kutztown in the first round of NCAAs, before beating IUP in the NCAA semifinal and UMass-Lowell in the final. Along with Vanartsdalen, Whitney Miller and Chelsea Due each received first-team All-American honors.
