The 2004 Falcons split the opening weekend with a pair of 2-1 scores, losing to UML in overtime to start 1-1. They then put together a 19-game winning streak in the middle of the season that included back-to-back wins over #1 UMass-Lowell and #2 Shippensburg. The Ship win started a three-game shutout streak that culminated in a trip to the NE-10 finals, where UML won the rubber match in a 4-3 decision. A win over Southern Connecticut in NCAAs advanced the Falcons to a fourth meeting with the River Hawks, and Bentley evened the season series with a 3-0 shutout. An overtime loss to Bloomsburg in the final ended the season. Mary Rogers, Lindsay Harrington, Kerry Kopec and Jenn Walker all earned All-American honors.
